Size Guide

Sizes are listed in inches as width by length. Choose Horizontal or Vertical to set which way the piece hangs.

Above furniture: pick a piece about two thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console below it, and hang it 8 to 10 inches above.
On an open wall: larger is usually better. A piece that fills about 60 to 75 percent of the wall reads as intentional.
Groupings: leave 2 to 3 inches between pieces so they read as one composition.
Try it first: outline the size on your wall with painter's tape before you order.

Care

Preserved moss is real moss that no longer grows, so it never needs water, sunlight, soil or trimming. To keep it looking its best:

Hang it indoors, out of direct sunlight, and away from water, steam and heat vents.
It is happiest at normal indoor humidity, about 40 to 60 percent.
Dust gently with a soft brush or a hair dryer on the cool setting. Never spray or wipe the moss.

Mystic Moss is calm, balanced, and a little moody. Apple and Forest reindeer moss sit alongside soft sheet moss, and the two textures play off each other in a way that draws you in.

Two Textures in Balance

Reindeer moss is full and cloudlike, while sheet moss lies low and smooth. Placed side by side, each one makes the other stand out more. Apple adds a bright green, Forest adds a deep green, and the sheet moss settles in between them.

Light also plays a part. The raised reindeer moss catches it, and the low sheet moss falls into soft shadow. As a result, the piece shifts a little as the light in the room changes through the day.

We lay every section by hand, so the balance is never quite the same from one piece to the next.
